BioGalicia Summit, the international summit of the biotech sector, will bring together the entire biotech ecosystem on 3 March in Santiago, online and free of charge, to discuss the latest trends applied to health and agri-food. The event is part of the activities of BioIncubaTech, the high-tech incubator managed by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago de Compostela and Uninova and the support of the Xunta de Galicia and the INCYDE Foundation.
The BioGalicia Summit will serve to address the opportunities for internationalisation of the biotechnology sector, to learn about the most effective means and tools for attracting private funding, as well as to learn in detail about the Next Generation funds applied to the field of health sciences and agri-food and the role of SMEs in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan promoted by the central government, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function of the Government of Spain and the Xunta de Galicia through the Igape.
The event and presentations will be held on 3 March in morning and afternoon sessions, and attendees will be able to arrange one-to-one meetings from 2 to 4 March 2022. These networking meetings will serve to bring together actors in the biotechnology field to channel research towards the market and companies, explore new opportunities for collaboration between companies, and open up market niches by jointly developing innovative initiatives.
