Hydrogels for the controlled release of substances
Design of new materials based on hydrogels for the controlled release of substances. In particular, new materials for the manufacture of contact lenses with the capacity to release substances that improve comfort when wearing the lens. In the long term, it could develop contact lenses for the treatment of ocular pathologies, such as those associated with diabetes or dry eye syndrome.
