Analysis of the interaction of the body’s hard tissues with implantable materials
USC spin-off focused on the analysis of the interaction of the body’s hard tissues with implantable materials. Its target are companies and public institutions dedicated to the development of biomaterials, bone substitutes, dental and trauma implants, as well as other devices or treatments related to calcified or non-calcified tissues. The extensive knowledge of the sector, with more than 20 years of experience, allows them to have the capabilities to evaluate the interaction of these materials in tissues, providing joint research solutions to meet the needs of biotechnology companies and research groups.
The company’s work is fundamentally focused on three pillars: the performance of preclinical tests to obtain the tissue samples to be studied; the performance of high-resolution microtomographic studies for the non-destructive three-dimensional evaluation of the samples; and the performance of histological and histomorphometric studies that allow the microscopic observation of the tissues and the implanted materials.
